Our Mission is to support Montessori Education in School District 43 through parent and teacher education, classroom materials, community outreach, and program advocacy.
Classrooms
You won’t find the customary rows of school desks; children work at tables or on the floor, rolling out mats
Teachers
The Montessori teacher prepares a classroom environment with materials and activities that entice their students to learn.
Material
Students work with specially designed materials, manipulating and investigating until they master the lesson inside.
Multi-Age
Younger children learn from older children; older children reinforce their learning by teaching concepts they mastered.
Donations
In SD43, families are very fortunate to be able to choose a Montessori education with no extra mandatory tuition fees due in large part to the generosity of our past families. Materials that are used in the classrooms can need updating and replacing year to year. Please help us to continue to supply the Montessori Program of Choice for many years to come. While we suggest a donation of $100 per family, any amount is appreciated.
